My Thoughts on Objectified

This movie was quite interesting, especially because the focus was on industrial design and that is my major. I learned many things that will definitely help me later on, like the principles of good design stressed by Dieter Rams. The point made that I found to be the most intriguing was how we need to start making products that will 'wear in', not 'wear out'. Because if everything becomes old and useless after a while, there will be so much trash going to the landfills. We need to make sure that we think about sustainability when we are designing items.
